DAUBRESSE, Julie E., 86, of Sun City Center passed away April 5, 2014. Julie was born in Detroit, Michigan, on December 11, 1927, to the late James and Julia Pirosko. Julie graduated from Southwestern High School. She married the late Richard Ramsey in 1951. Julie and Richard were the parents of three children. Julie enjoyed a lengthy bank management career, retiring from both Bank of the Commonwealth and Security Bank and Trust. Julie was the beloved wife of Ted Daubresse for 37 years, which Ted freely admits were the happiest 37 years of his life. They met on a blind date and it was obvious from the start that they were very compatible and shared the same interests and values. They were married six weeks later. As Ted has often said - he didn't want someone snatching Julie away from him. Ted and Julie relocated from Allen Park, Michigan to Sun City Center in 1991, where they shared 23 wonderful years together. Julie was an active member of the community, frequently enjoying the company of many dear friends. Regular exercise and travel were favorite pastimes. Among other places, they were in Tahiti twice. Julie is survived by her husband, Ted Daubresse, three children; James (Linda) Ramsey, David Ramsey, Cynthia (Sid) VanHouten, a sister, Margaret Smith, nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A memorial service will be 1 pm Monday, April 14, 2014 at Sun City Center Funeral Home, 1851 Rickenbacker Drive, Sun City Center, Fla. Memorials can be sent in Julie's name to LifePath Hospice, 3725 Upper Creek Drive, Ruskin, FL, 33573. P.S. They were compatible to the end as both Julie and Ted have experienced cancer.
