KRAFF, Harry 93, of St. Petersburg, passed away April 15, 2014. Harry was born in Tarashta, Ukraine and immigrated to the United States with his mother via Ellis Island at age 3. He enlisted in the Army Air Corps in January 1940 and served as a technical instructor in the Air Corps Tech Schools at Chanute Field, IL and in Biloxi, MS. Harry moved to Florida with his wife, Jean, in 1959 where they owned and operated Aris Drapery for 30 years on Central Avenue in St. Petersburg. He was a member of Congregation B'nai Israel in St. Petersburg, a Jewish war veteran, a loving father and grandfather, and very grateful to America for accepting him. Harry is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Jean; children, Ronald (Sandy), Eileen (Michael), and Tina (Bill); grandchildren, Daniel, Matthew, Alicia, Lila, Paul, Eric, and Scott; and great-grandchildren, Ava and Macie. A graveside service will be held 11 am Friday, April 18th at Chapel Hill Memorial Park, 12905 Wild Acres Rd., Largo. Guestbook at davidcgross.com David C.
