He also had a host of great friends who remain special to the entire family. Mr. Haworth spent 27 years as a Police Officer in the City of Dunedin and rose through the ranks to serve as the Police Chief and Director of Public Safety from 1983 to 1990. He was a man of great character & loyalty and prided himself on always doing the right thing. He loved to travel, play cards, watch the Bucs and Rays, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. He was a very genuine, honest, and giving man that did things his way.
