LUCCIOLA, Alexander 89, passed away on May 10, 2014. Born in Canonsburg, PA April 15, 1925, WWII veteran, stationed at Mac Dill; stayed in St. Petersburg and married Marion Minshall in 1956. He was co-owner and operator of Minshall the Florist for 42 years.A member of Clearview U. M.C. for 52 years, served as chairman of many committees, sang in choir, president of Methodist Men. He served as District Representative for FTD association; president of Florida West Coast Florist Association and 55 year member of Nitram Lodge #188, F & AM. He is survived by wife, Marion; son Alan; daughter, Amy Loving; four grandchildren; seven great-grand children; and 10 nieces and nephews.Memorial service and celebration of his life will be on Saturday, May 17 at 11 am at Clearview United Methodist Church, 4515 38th Ave. North, St. Petersburg. Interment at later date. Flowers welcomed and will be taken to residents and staff at Consulate Health Care in appreciation of their over 4 years of care. Gee & Sorensen Funeral Home, St. Petersburg
