WATERHOUSE, Charles H. "Charlie" 95, of St. Petersburg, passed away June 14, 2014. Born in Springfield, MA, Charlie, with wife Elaine, came to St. Petersburg in 1989. He was the retired owner of Springfield Screen Process in Ludlow, MA. Charlie worked diligently to support his family, spending days at one company while starting another during the evening. His passion in life, other than his family, was the restoration of his 1931 Ford Model A Sport Coupe. He is a lifelong member of MARC (Model A Restorers Club of America) serving as President of the Western Mass Chapter and becoming an active member of the PINMAR club once arriving in Florida. He was also a communicant of St. John Vianney Catholic Church, St. Pete Beach. Charlie can best be remembered for his smile and wave as he proudly drove his model "A" in parades with his wife of 71 years, Elaine by his side. Charlie loved a good joke but rarely finished one as he was laughing too hard. A double twitch of his nose sometimes served as a response to someone's statement, an endearing quality. Survivors include his loving wife of 71 years, Elaine; sons, Charles with wife Bonnie, and Bryan with wife Denise (Parent) Waterhouse; two grandchildren, Katie with her husband John McFarland of North Haven, CT and Kevin with his wife Karen Waterhouse of Pembroke, MA; two great-grandchildren, Courtney and Caitlyn McFarland; and brother, Elmer (Bud) Waterhouse with wife Maureen. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 am Wednesday, June 18th at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 445 82nd Ave., St. Pete Beach. Donations in Charlie's memory are suggested to Suncoast Hospice (thehospice.org) or the (www.alz.org/FLGulfCoast). Guestbook at davidcgross.com. David C.
