TORRES, Jose' Ramon 79, of Dunedin, passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2014. He was born to Jose' Torres and Sara Alvarez, on July 11, 1934 in Havana, Cuba. He moved from Cuba to Spain in June 1966 with his wife and son where he lived for two years before he relocated to the United States in 1968. He was a resident of New York City from 1968 to 1984 and for the last 30 years a resident of Dunedin. He worked as a draf-tsman during his working ye-ars until he retired in 1993. He is survived by his wife, Hortensia Torres; son, Jose' G. Torres, M.D.; sister, Enedina Torres; his brother-in-law, Eduardo Rego; his nephew, Jose' B. Torres; his grandd-aughters, Sarah M. Torres, and Melissa A. Narine and her husband Justin. Also his great- grandchildren, Nora, Wyatt and Ezekiel. A memorial service is being held on Friday, July 11, at Curlew Hills Memory Gardens, 1750 Curlew Rd., Palm Harbor, FL 34683, between 6 pm and 8 pm.
