MORA, Kenneth E., 94, passed away peacefully at his home on July 15, 2014. Ken was born in Tampa, Florida, the son of Erie Mora and Ruby Aman Fish. He was a Navy Veteran, having served his country during WWII and was a deacon in the Lake Carroll Baptist Church as well as the South Venice Baptist Church. Ken owned his own business, Florida Brass and Tube, and upon retirement enjoyed his lifelong passions of fishing, tending orchids and gardening. Ken was preceded in death by his wife, Anita, after a marriage of 52 years. He is survived by his brother, Edwin Mora (Frances); his sister, Gloria Whitlock; his sons, Dennis, Bob (Gwen), and Brad (Alana); his grandchildren, Karen Mora Wood, Leslie Mora, Jennifer Mora Wells (John) and Kevin Mora (Melissa); and his beloved great-grandchildren, Colton Kenneth Mora and Hunter Philip Mora. A celebration of his life will be held on July 21, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Blount & Curry Terrace Oaks, 12690 N. 56th Street, Temple Terrace. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Temple Terrace Garden Club or to The Humane Society of Tampa Bay.
