KELLEY, Robert H., age 89, of Tampa, passed away on July 22nd, 2014. He was the last surviving child of George and Jane Kelley who preceded him in death some years ago as did his loving wife more recently. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corp in WWII and the USAF in Korea. He was awarded medals for American Campaign, National Defense, Victory, Korean War, and United Nations. In Korea he served as lead SSGT overseeing fighter jets armoring and maintenance. After honorable discharge he moved his family from Attleboro, MA to Tampa. Although his vision wasn't good enough to see what was going on, he attended games whenever he could get a ride. The last game he attended was July 11th against Toronto where the Rays won 10-3. Go Rays! Survived by his loving wife, Jean; sons, Robert and James; daughter, Jennifer. He had six grandchildren: Robin, Christy, Corbin, Connor, April and Shannon. He had 6 great-grandchild-ren; one great-great-grand-child. We will all miss his sharp wit with a tongue to match.
