WILMOT, Vernon passed away Aug. 11, 2014. Born 1928 in Pontiac, MI, to Alice and Delmar Wilmot. He worked for GM Parts Division Pontiac, MI for 35 years. He was an avid fisherman, hunter. He played accordion with his band, The Four Bits of Rhythm. Past lifetime member with local 784 Pontiac Federation of Musicians Bloomfields Hills, MI. After retirement he moved to Crystal Bay Travel Resort, Palm Harbor, FL for 30 plus years. The last four years of life at Consulate Healthcare of Safety Harbor, FL. We thank all who helped him. He is survived by his son, Larry Wilmot and his wife Joanne of Port St. Lucie, FL; brother, Gary Wilmot and his wife Janice of Pontiac, MI; granddaughter, Teresa Davis and her children, Jack and Haizeley of Arizona. Predeceased by wife Elsie; dearest daughter Janis Davis; brothers Lyn and Dick Wilmot. No services scheduled. Arrangements are entrusted to Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home, Safety Harbor, FL.
