CASSATO, John Paul left this world Aug. 6, 2014. He was born in Chicago, IL, to John and Nancy Cassato on July 31, 1952. John owned ETS Marine Electronics in Tampa before retiring for health reasons. He had many friends in the marine/fishing industries. John was a very unique individual with a giving spirit. Although suffering physically, he always infused laughter into a situation. John was a cancer survivor and loved it when his nieces and nephews called him "Uncle Kool". He made a lasting impression on everyone he met. He leaves behind his precious daughter, Kayla Marie Cassato of Tampa; mother, Nancy Cassato of Largo; three sisters, Amy Smith and husband, Dean of Palm Harbor, Catherine Korth and husband, Jim of Elgin, IL, Sue Slater and husband, Don from Schau-mburg, IL; three brothers, Robert of St. Petersburg, Steven of Seminole, Thomas and wife, Brenda of Lutz; uncle, Richard of Burbank, CA; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father. John will be missed by all who knew and loved him. A celebration of John's life will be held on Saturday, Aug. 30, at 10 am at the Calvary Chapel, 32676 US 19 N., Palm Harbor. Condolences may be expressed at www.Adams-Jennings.com.
