Elsa Audrey WHALEN

WHALEN, Elsa Audrey 82, of Largo, formerly of Skan-eateles, NY and Belleair, passed away Sept. 16, 2014 and joined her late husband of 48 years, William Arthur Whalen. Elsa was born June 11, 1932 in Capreol, Ontario, daughter of Agnes and Frederick Johnson. She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Dal Pos (David), of Clearwater Beach; son, Christopher Whalen of Sand Key; and many nieces and nephews including, Joy Alb-erico of Phoenix, AZ, Beverly McCrae-Schell of Grand Valley, ONT, and Debbie Bloy of Beverly Hills, CA. Elsa is predeceased by her siblings, Isabel Alberico, Chester Johnson, Betty Anderson and husband Keith, Agnes Bloy and husband Bob, Jim Johnson and wife Peggy, Wilfred Johnson and wife Grace, Marjory McRae, Madge Johnson, and EdythMae Johnson. Elsa lived life to the fullest with grace and an irreverent sense of humor right until the end. She met the love of her life in Toronto and spent the next 50 years raising a family, traveling the world, and working in real estate. Elsa especially enjoyed her time living in Weybridge, England, Chicago, IL, and Skaneateles, NY. To those who knew her, Elsa's caring demeanor, sharp wit, and love of life will forever be missed.
