BOTERO, Luis Miguel 68, passed away Dec. 27, 2010, after a courageous fight with pancreatic cancer. He was born in Colombia and after immigrating to the United States became a proud American citizen. He dedicated his life to medicine and was a cardiac surgeon. His greatest love was his family as witnessed during this Christmas season. He will forever be loved and remembered by his wife of 44 years, Margarita M. Botero; his 3 daughters, Sandra Botero, Claudia Moore, and Monique Botero; 8 siblings, and his 5 grandchildren, Jaime, Mia, Ava, Magnolia, and Miles. There will be a gathering of family and friends on Friday, Dec. 31, 2010, from 4-6 pm at the Brett Funeral Home, 4810 Central Ave., St. Petersburg. Funeral Mass will be Saturday, Jan. 1, 2011, at 11:30 am at St. Raphael's Catholic Church, 1376 Snell Isle Blvd. N.E., St. Petersburg.
