GEER, William C. "Bill" "Mr. Scrapbook" 72, of Palm Harbor, died Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at Stratford Court. He was born April 16, 1939, in Johnstown, PA, moved to Clearwater with his parents and siblings in 1954, and graduated from Clearwater HS with the Class of '57. He served 52 months in the U.S. Marine Corps and was honorably discharged with rank of Sergeant E-5. Mr. Geer received a Bachelor and Masters Degrees in Business Mgt. from Cal State Fullerton. He retired in 2001, after 29 plus years with Honeywell Inc. where he was a production programs and purchasing manager. He was an avid scrapbook creator completing major works on the space program, WWII, pro & college sports and the Geer family. His latest work on West Point Football is on permanent display at The College Football Hall of Fame in South Bend, IN. He is survived by son Matthew, Tampa; daughter Suzanne Pearce, Clearwater; beloved grandchildren Andrew and Lindsey Geer, Tampa; three brothers, Curtis, St. Petersburg, Bruce, Clearwater and Byron, Lancaster, PA; and sister Annette Motley, Bradenton. A visitation will be held from 6-7:30 pm Tuesday, April 26, followed by a funeral service Wednesday, April 27, at 10 am. Both services to be held at Curlew Hills, Palm Harbor.
