Obituary

EGBOR, Augustine Akhuemokhan passed away Thursday, April 28, 2011. He was born in Ekpoma, Nigeria on Dec. 23, 1924, of the union of Mr. Gabriel Ogbekhiulu Egbor and Mrs. Cecilia Iyoha Egbor. He was married to the late Sheila Armstrong, from that union were born his children Michael, Veronica, Nigel, and Yvonne Egbor. He then married Mrs. Ivy Adassah Egbor and later, he married Mrs. June Tinuade James Egbor. He is mourned by his wife, June Tinuade James Egbor; his children, Michael Augustine Osemelu Egbor and his wife Mary Gimbia Egbor, Veronica Ivbaria Egbor Fouche and her husband Harry Joseph Fouche, Nigel Isememe Egbor, Yvonne Ivbalugho Bridget Egbor Saleh and her husband Danjuma Saleh Bola John Emmanuel, Amuwa Ann Ogunsulire; his grandchildren, Angela Iyabo Egbor, Jennifer Iyoha Prince and her husband Hamza Habib Prince, Simon Osaghon Egbor, Michael Ehimare Egbor Jr., Joseph Isibor Fouche (deceased), Sheila Valentina Ivbaria Fouche, Djenane Raha Isememe Fouche, Giovanna Andrea Emua Fouche, Anyebe Yakubu Augustine Saleh, Ocheme Graham Akhere Saleh, Oyihoma Grant Odion Saleh; his great-grandchildren, Christopher Anthony Obinyan Egbor, Tione Ann-Marie Egbor, Amani Habiba Egbor, Tyric Omar Egbor, Sydney Iziegbe Jones, Santiago Omozokpia Jones; his brothers and sisters, Agnes Oboh, Kessington Egbor, Major Veronica Egbor Akhigbe (rtd) Andrew Ehighalua Egbor, Sunday Egbor (deceased), David Egbor (deceased) John Oamen Egbor, Irete Egbor, Odion Egbor Monday Osehi Egbor, Maria Umoera, Victoria Ighalo Mercy Edeoghon, Odion Mary Egbor, Akhere Egbor. He attended Government Schol atEkpoma, Edo College, Benin, and Kings College, the University of Cambridge, the Institute of Administration, UIniversity of Lfe and Henley Administrative Staff College. He founded Egbor and Associates, was responsible for building a variety of buildings at many Nigerian Universities, and designed the proposed Nigeria Embassy Building in Brasilia, Brazil. May God in his infinite mercy, open the gates of heaven for you, and admit you into his kingdom, until we meet again. Rest in peace brother, husband, dad, granddad, great-granddad, uncle, and cousin Augustine. The family of Augustine Akhuemokhan Egbor acknowledges the prayers and support of all during this time of loss, especially the congregation of Christ Apostolic Church. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm, Friday, May 13, 2011, at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 13312 Cain Road, Tampa, FL 33625, where a service will be conducted, 10 am, Saturday. Interment in Trinity Memorial Gardens.
