ALLARD, Carolyn Ann 46, of Tampa, passed away at her home on Aug. 14, 2012. She was born August 1, 1966, in Houston, TX to the late Rosemary and Waitus Denham. She attended Lafayette High School in Lafayette, LA, and graduated from Louisiana State University in 1988 with a bachelor's degree in psychology. She was the event director for MercuryGate International, Inc., a transportation management software company, for the past three years. All her life she was a true friend to many. During her time at MercuryGate she touched the lives of all her co-workers as well as business acquaintances. She always put others above her own needs and had a heart of gold. She always saw the good in everyone she met. We are all lucky and blessed to have a piece of her kindness to help us. She will be missed, and she will not be forgotten. Carolyn is survived by her precious 17 year old daughter, Ashley Allard; her husband, Richard Allard of Palmetto; & a brother, Bruce Denham of WV. Carolyn's daughter was the pride & joy of her life. The legacy of Carolyn's kind spirit, passion for sports, love of reading, fishing and zest for life will live on through Ashley. A Celebration of Life will be held August 23rd at Blount & Curry Funeral Home-Carrollwood Chapel, 3207 West Bearss Avenue in Tampa. The viewing will be from 4 to 7 pm and the service follows at 7 pm. A memorial fund has been established to support her daughter's college education.
