LARCOM, Edward J. 85, died from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Born in Seminole, Eddie spent most of his life in Port Tampa. Mr. Larcom leaves behind five children Jean Sollenberger (Bob), Cookie Strickland, Ted Larcom (Wanda), Al Larcom (Nancy) and Ricky Larcom (Beth); 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren. He was a WWII Navy veteran, opened Larcom's Garage in 1963 and was a member of the American Legion Riders Post 138 and Tin Can Sailors. Eddie will be remembered by those who knew and loved him for his honesty and commitment to his family and the Port Tampa Community. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 24 at the 1st Baptist Church of Port Tampa. The family will receive friends from 2-3 pm with the service at 3:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Legion Riders Post 138.
