BEAHN, James W. 77, of St. Petersburg, passed away on April 16, 2013, at Hospice Woodside, with family at his side. Jim was a United States Army veteran, having served in the Korean Conflict. He leaves behind three sons, David Hawkins (Kathy), Kevin Beahn and Craig Beahn; brothers, Raymond (Pat), John (Sabra) and Bob Beahn; sisters, Jeri De Vault, Gloria Block (John), and Myrna Easom (Jack); grandchildren, Cassandra, Danny (Sheri), and Matthew Hawkins; and granddaughter, Bailey Hawkins; and many nieces and nephews. Jim made his living as a shrimper on local waters, and as a limo driver. His family will celebrate his special life at their upcoming family reunion, and then he will be interred at Bushnell National Cemetery. He's absent from the body, but present with the Lord.
