GARLANGER, Herman 89, of South Pasadena, formerly of Philadelphia, PA, passed away peacefully Feb. 11, 2014. Herman was a World War II veteran who fought in Europe with D. Troop 92nd Cavalry Reconnaissance Squa-dron Mechanized. After the war, he became a carpenter and member of the Brotherhood of Carpenters Local #1462. He was also a member of American Legion Post #305. Herman is survived by his eldest son, Michael; grandchildren, Steven E. Jr., Erin, and Colleen; and four great-grandchildren, Hannah, Aidan, Tyler, and Haley-Marie. He was predeceased by his wife, Katheryn and youngest son, Steven. A private cremation has been planned.
