Lawrence STROH Obituary

STROH, Lawrence J. Jr.

78, of Sun City Center, formerly of East Amherst, NY, went home to be with Jesus his Lord and Savior on Nov. 14, 2014. He retired as Journeyman Electrician with IBEW 41 Buffalo, NY, and moved to Sun City Center in 2001. He served in USMC and was a member of SCC Leathernecks. Larry enjoyed reading, boating on the Niagara River, Hunting in East Otto, NY, Trap shooting at Grand Island Rod & Gun Club, and looking out over Swan Lake in his retirement. Preceded in death by his father, Lawrence J. Stroh Sr.; mother, Mary Ann Stroh. Survived by his loving wife, Barbara; children, Lynda (Tony) Osterstuck, Lauren (Glen) Vanderzalm, Kim (Ken) Allen, Lawrence J. (Ruthie) Stroh III; grands, Lindsey, Bobby, Bradley, Jaime, Lawrence J. IV; sister, Jacqueline (William) Kollatz; brother, Robert (Marian) Stroh. Memorial Service will be 1 pm, Sunday, Nov. 23, at United Community Church, United Church of Christ, 1501 La Jolla Avenue, Sun City Center.
