So sad to have to say goodbye after all those good times and great experiences. Having so much in common from a friendship that started at Port Hueneme in 1982 and our Seabee careers that paralleled each other.
We will miss his advice and attention to detail but one day we will be together again. Doreen we are sending you healing prayers and comforting hugs.
With heartfelt sympathy,
Jim & Suzanne Graham

So sorry to hear the news of Russ's passing. He was the hardest working Seabee that I ever met. If you wanted a job done, give it to Russ and it was completed. I will miss his friendship and the many Seabee stories and his disaster tales.
You and all of your family are in our thoughts and prayers.
With sympathy,

Russ was a great influence on me in my Seabee career! Always smiling and always happy. As a former enlisted to officer like Russ we had much in common. I will miss him, but I know he's in a better place.
My condolences and prayers to his family,

Doreen and Family,

Russ was a wonderful shipmate and a Patriot in every sense of the word. What a "trooper" and warrior he was with a sense of dedication to the end. His last email to the NMCB 14 Alumni Association was that he wanted to serve as long as he could, and serve he did. He will be sorely missed.

Our thoughts and prayer are with you during this difficult time. May Russ rest in peace with the blessings of God.

With sympathy,
