Bales, Donald Wayne "Don" - Jay  
Donald Wayne "Don" Bales 1943-2016 Donald Wayne "Don" Bales, 73, of Brownsdale Community passed away on July 18, 2016. Don was born and raised in Shumway, IL and attended high school at Beecher City. He entered the U.S. Navy on June 6, 1960 and retired on September 1, 1981. In that time frame, he was stationed at NAS Whiting Field, NAS Gitmo Cuba, Fourth Naval District Headquarters in Philadelphia, PA, USS KRETCHMER (DER 329), Construction Batallion CBU 201 in Davisville, RI, and NAS Key West, FL. He made 1 ½ trips around the world from top to bottom and obtained the rank of Chief Legalman (CPO USN RETIRED). Don has resided here since 1981. He was a long-time employee of McKenzie Motors of Milton and was a member of New Bethel Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by: his parents; three brothers; and two sisters. Survivors include: his wife of 27 years, Pat; his children: Karen Redmond (Doug), Bryan Bales, Debbie Bales, Susan Pate (Mitch), Roy "Bo" Allen, and Nancy LaKaye Allen; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers and sister, Larry Bales (Sondra), Chuck Bales (Doris), and Betty Foster; and best friend, Charlie Tyner. Trahan Family Funeral Home of Milton, 6539 Trammel Dr., is in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, July 22, 2016 also at the funeral home with Brother Larry Pearson, officiating. Burial will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery. Pallbearers are: Joe Cook, John Hughes, Jamie Sanders, Jerry Bales, Damon Frady, and Wayne Luker. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: New Bethel Baptist Church, Pew Restoration Fund.

Blackmon, Willie Mae  
Mrs. Willie Mae Blackmon, 81, passed away on Friday July 15, 2016 in Milton, Florida. Mrs. Blackmon was a native of Anniston, Alabama and has been a resident of Bay Minette, Alabama for the past forty years. Mrs. Blackmon attended Shady Grove Assembly of God. And is a member of Vision Ministries Church of God. She was a loving, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, and she was a receptionist a Blackmon Accounting and Insurance. She also was a retired clerk at the Circuit Clerks office in Bay Minette. She is preceded in death by husband of 50 years, Elevie T. Blackmon, Daughter, Genvea M. Blackmon, parents James W. and Virgie M. Cato, One brother, Gene Cato. She is survived by her two sons, Edward T. Blackmon (Judy) of Milton, Fl, George L. Blackmon(PawneeEagle)of Abilene Texas, Two Daughters, Sheri C. Russell(Andy) of Bay Minette, Al, Alicia M. Coon(Mel) of Milton, Fl, One brother Jim Cato(Ruth)of Matthews North Carolina, One Sister, Illa Thomas, of Bay Minette, Alabama. Three Grandchildren, Kacey Cottrell(Sara) of Saraland Alabama, Rebeca Hopkins(Erik) of Ooeltwa, Tennennessee, Jamie Scott(Brandon) of Bay Minette, Alabama, Four, Great grandchildren, Aiden Cottrell, Haley Cottrell, Nathan Hopkins, Laela Hopkins, and numerous Step Great grandchildren, and Step Great Grandchildren. Funeral services will be Monday, July, 18 2016 at 11 A.M. at Vision Ministries Church of God. Rev. Allan Blackmon, officiating. Burial will follow at Dean Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, July 17, 2016 from, 6 to 9 PM at Vision Ministries Church of God. Pallbearers will be Kacey Cottrell, Erik Hopkins, Brandon Scott, Kevin Stewart, Jeremy Blackmon, and Larry Stewart. Honorary Pallbearers will be Aiden Cottrell, Nathan Hopkins. Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Homes, LLC in charge of all arrangements, Atmore, Alabama.

Blackmoon, George Ollie  
George Ollie Blackmon 1940-2016 George Ollie Blackmon, 76, of Milton went Home to be with the Lord on July 24, 2016. He was preceded in death by: his father, John Pinkney Blackmon; mother, Agnes Gladys Lee Ward Blackmon; three brothers, Buddy Blackmon, David Otis Blackmon, and Charles Oliver Blackmon; two sisters, Grace Miller and Johnnie Sue Moore; and one grandson, Christopher Boutwell. Survivors include: his wife, Sarah Blackmon; three daughters, Elaine Boutwell (Dennis), Genia Copeland (Terry), and Molly Maxwell (Ken); two sons, George Blackmon (Trudy) and John Blackmon (Stacey); twenty grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Steve Blackmon; five sisters: Lillie Mae Alford, Sally Whitaker, Mary Chavers, Ursell Farrington, and Selma Punnett; and numerous nieces and nephews. Trahan Family Funeral Home of Milton is in charge of arrangements. The family will hold a private celebration of life. He was a loving husband, great father and PawPaw, and a loyal friend. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Campbell, Margaret Juanita (Stewart) - Chumuckla  
Margaret Juanita Stewart Campbell, 86, passed away peacefully, on June 10, 2016, surrounded by her family, at the home where she and her husband raised their five children, in Chumuckla, FL. She loved her family, her church, and her community, where she taught life skills and home economics to generations, during more than 35 years of teaching. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Ethel Stewalt, daughter Cynthia Mitchell, and brother Lorenzo Stewart. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Harold Glen Campbell; daughter, Renita Enfinger (David); sons, Ronald Campbell (Kim), Keith Campbell (Robynn), and Dale Campbell (Tracey); four sisters, Mildred Hare (Jack), Mavis Morris (Bill), Ruthie Fortune ( Ed), and Lanara Southard (Howard); brother, Lorandal StewaIt (Beth); son-in-law Tommy Mitchell; sister-in-law Jeannie Stewart, and a very large extended family. Grandma adored her ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.

Crews, Helen Elizabeth (West) - Milton  
Helen Elizabeth (West) Crews, 87, of Milton, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2016. Mrs. Crews was born in Milton, Florida, on June 30, 1928, to Calvin Tippin West and Clara Bell McQueen West. She was a lifelong resident of Milton and was a member of the Community of Christ Church. Along with her parents, Mrs. Crews is preceded in death by her husband, E. O. Crews; and a sister, Nell Robinson. Mrs. Crews is survived by her son, Charles "Chuck" Crews of Milton; her daughter, Sharon Crews (Frank) Solis of Raymondville, Texas; three grandchildren, Ryan (Rebecca) Solis, Nathan Solis, and Weylon Solis; and four great grandchildren, Tyler Solis, Ian Solis, Asa Solis and Helena Solis. Funeral Services were held at 12:00 noon on Monday, June 20, 2016, at the Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel with Elders Wayne and Angie Blocker officiating and Lewis Funeral Home directing. The family received friends beginning at 11 :00 a.m. on Monday, prior to services. ACTIVE PALLBEARERS: Ryan Solis, Nathan Solis, Weylon Solis, Tyler Solis, Ian Solis, and Asa Solis. HONORARY PALLBEARERS: David G. White, Calvin Robinson, Will Robinson, Frank Robinson, Tom Robinson. Marcia and Gary Howard, Don Coleman, and Neil Passmore.

Davis, Miriam Faye (Enfinger) - Jay  
Miriam Faye Enfinger Davis, age 85, of Chumuckla passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2016. Miriam was born on June 28, 1931, in the Wallace community to Francis Monroe and Hazel Sharritt Enfinger. She was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church, working with the G.A.'s and in the church nursery. She also loved her time working as a nurse's aide at Jay Hospital and Santa Rosa Hospital. Miriam was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 69 years, James Willard Davis; her son, Donnie Davis; and siblings: Lillian (Phil) Heath, Vernon (Else) Enfinger, Dorothy Donnelly, Vera (Aubrey) McBride, Althea Blum, Frances (R.B.) Raybon, Howard (Mildred) Enfinger, Edwina Mock, Franklin Enfinger, Jean Sumlin, and James Enfinger. She is survived by her children: Brenda (Larry) Gillman, Sandra Neal, and Doug Davis; five grandchildren: Tony (Pika) White, Donna White, Leslie (Pete) Zielinski, Sandra (Tony) Kuhl, and Gordon Gillman; five great-grandchildren: Davis and Ethan White, Tony and Taylor Kuhl, and Elizabeth Gillman; one great-great-granddaughter, Brelynn Kuhl; sister, Gwen (Bert) Riddles; brother Wilton (Nola) Enfinger; sister-in-law Gwendolyn Enfinger, and many nieces and nephews. Many thanks to Covenant Care and to our Mom' s personal caregivers. You are truly our angels on earth. The service was held on Friday, July 15, 2016 at Calvary Baptist Church in Allentown. Brother LaDon Hall, assisted by Brother Dustin Lambert, officiated. Burial followed at the church cemetery. Trahan Family Funeral Home of Milton was in charge of arrangements. Gilbert, Minnie Cathryn (Vivkrey)  
Minnie Cathryn Vickrey Gilbert was born August 24, 1923 on the family farm near Huxford, Alabama. Cathryn passed away July 23, 2016 at the age of 92 in her room at Glencove Health and Rehabilitation Center, Panama City, Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents (C.B & Laura Mae Vickrey), 3 sisters (Ardieth Vickrey, Winnogene Eidem, Laura Vickrey), 2 brothers (C.B Vickrey Jr, Graydon Vickrey) and her oldest daughter (Janean Campanaro). She is survived by 2 sisters (Elizabeth Barbour, Lanelle Bell), 1 brother (Jack Vickrey), 1 daughter (Bonnie Sanders), 3 sons (Rodney Gilbert, Cary Gilbert, Randy Gilbert), 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Cathryn was a life-long member of the Community of Christ. She served in the priesthood office of Teacher in the Milton Congregation. She loved singing in the choir and spent many hours sitting with the sick. She was a testament of God's love in all that she did. Cathryn lived in Mobile, Pensacola, Jacksonville and a few other places in the area in her young adult years with her young family and husband, Doug. Her family moved to Milton in 1959 where she resided until her bout with Alzheimer's disease made it necessary for her go into a full time care facility in 2002. Milton became her home. She was very active in her children's school activities. She loved Milton football as much as anyone! Cathryn watched basketball, went on band trips, worked concession and whatever her children pulled her into. Cathryn retired from Air Products where she was the payroll department for many years. She loved her work and the people she worked with. The family would like to invite all those who were touched by Cathryn's sweet spirit and beautiful smile to share in her celebration Monday, August 1, 10:30 am at National Cremation & Burial Society on Hwy 90 in Milton, Florida. The viewing will be Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. National Cremation & Burial Society of Milton has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Hunsucker Sr, Robert James "Bob" - Milton  
Robert James "Bob" Hunsucker, Sr., 77, of Milton, passed away July 1, 2016. Bob was born in Mooresville, N. C. and later moved to Troy, Ohio. He joined the Navy in 1955 and retired as CPO in 1975. He served aboard several ships as an aircraft electrician and attained his A&P License. He moved to Milton, FL in 1963 where he attended classes at PJC. He worked for Raytheon, Dyncorp, and Burnside Ott as a Manager. Bob also worked at Brewton Iron Works and retired from Santa Rosa County in 2004. He was preceded in death by: father, William Greer Hunsucker; mother, Lois Frances Spry Getzendiner; first wife, Prudence Ellen Hunsucker; brother, David Getzendiner; sister, Mary Wilhelm; grandsons, Christopher Bell and Robert James Hunsucker III Survived include: wife, Nora LaVerne Hunsucker; children: Sheral Lynn Bell (Dennis), Michele Diann Hunsucker, and Robert James Hunsucker, Jr.; stepchildren, Donald Ray White, Jr. (Nelda) and Susan Elaine Powell (Ronald); sister, Rita Pearson (Clint); brother, Arthur Getzendiner; aunt, Ruby Spry; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Trahan Family Funeral Home of Milton, 6539 Trammel Dr., is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until memorial service begins at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at the funeral home. The family has requested no flower tributes.

Lloyd, William Alvis - Pensacola  
William Alvis Lloyd, Sr., age 87, of Pensacola went home to be with his Lord on July 2, 2016. William was born on November 18, 1928 in Hillsborough NC. He was the eldest of 4 boys and worked on the family dairy farm. He graduated from Eli Whitney High School and served in the Air Force during the Korean War. During his service years, he married Irma Hamilton of Pensacola in 1950. Upon discharge, William returned to the dairy business eventually moving his family to Pensacola, where he resided for 57 years. William was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Elizabeth (Durham) Lloyd of NC and his daughter Patti (Lloyd) Cunningham of Pensacola. Survivors include: his wife of 65 years Irma (Hamilton) Lloyd, daughters: Deborah Lloyd, Victoria Hodges (Terry), Conni Carnley (Danny); son: William Lloyd Jr. (Linda); brothers: Carson, John, and Clayton; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A private family service will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery with Reverend Danny Carnley officiating. Trahan Family Funeral Home of Milton has been entrusted with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of William A. Lloyd to St Jude's Children's Research Hospital memorial fund www.stjude.org or to the Disabled American Veterans memorial fund at www.dav.org.

Stewart, Delma (Gunter) - Milton  
Delma Gunter Stewart, 92, of Milton, Florida, went to Heaven on July 20, 2016. Delma was born on November 23, 1923, in Wagner, South Carolina, to James and Hassie Gunter. Delma was a WWII Veteran Seaman 1st Class, cosmetologist, and hairdresser; and never met a stranger. She is preceded in death by her husband, William J. Stewart; her parents, James Gunter and Hassie Gunter; one brother; and five sisters. Delma is survived by her son, James "Jimbo" (Carol Ann) of Milton; daughter, Nancy (Brodie) of Dallas; son, Roger "Skipper" of Milton; granddaughters, Amber (Jason) Vaughn and Spring Stewart; great-grandchildren, Tristen Colley and Lauren Vaughn; numerous nieces and nephews; a special companion, Homer Hawkins; and friends, Faye Jones and Merna Richards. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 30, 2016, at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, with Rev. Matthew Dollhausen officiating. Lewis Funeral Home, Milton, has been entrusted with arrangements. Special thanks to those who helped with her care, Karen Edgar, Dr. Dennis Mayeaux, and Covenant Hospice nurses and staff, especially Jimiah, Roxanne and Barbara.
