William "Willie" Brochu, age 55, of Pensacola, FL passed away Monday, March 24, 2008, after a courageous battle with Melanoma.

He was a member of the Catholic faith, a local banker for over 30 years, and an avid golfer. He was an active member in the community and served on the Board of Directors for the Manna Food Bank and the Salvation Army. Willie was also a Charter Member and only Treasurer of the N.E. Sertoma Club.
He is preceded in death by his father-Arthur W. Brochu.
Willie is survived by his loving wife of 34 years-Cindy Brochu; daughter-Jennifer Brochu; son and daughter-in-law-Randy and Kristina Brochu; grandson-Dylan Brochu "his little man"; mother-Hilary Brochu; sister-Brenda Broxson (Ray); brother-Alan Brochu (Anne); sister-Susan Chipman (Bret); brother-Steve Brochu; brother-in-law-Robert Williams (Sheila); many nieces, nephews, cousins and his First Gulf Bank Family and Red Barn Friends. He was blessed with many close friends.
Visitation will be 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 27, 2008 at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church.
Funeral Mass will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 27, 2008 at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.
The family would like to thank M. D. Anderson and Dr. Thomas Sunnenberg and staffs for their compassionate care for Willie through his fight.
Active Pallbearers will be Bob Stinnett, Gary Summitt, Don Shepherd, Jeff Heddy, Chip Jones, Neil Springstead and Duck Milam.
Honorary Pallbearers will be members of the N. E. Pensacola Sertoma Club.
