McBride , Sharon Love
Sharon Love McBride of Midlothian, VA passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at her home. Mrs. McBride was born on May 3, 1950 in New York City. She was the daughter of Joan and James Love. She was raised in Shippan Point, Stamford, CT graduated from Stamford High School and studied at Marymount College in Boca Raton, FL. She married Michael McBride in 1988 in California and they relocated to Virginia in 1994 where they raised their children. Sharon was very active in her community, volunteering at her children's schools and the St. Francis Medical Center. She enjoyed spending summers biking, swimming, and cheering her daughters on at their swim meets. The family also looked forward to their trips to Virginia Beach. She is survived by her loving husband, Michael McBride, her daughters, Caitlin, Lauren and Colleen McBride, her son, Gregory Anuskewicz and two granddaughters. In addition, other survivors include her siblings, Crispin E. Love, Paula L. Dwyer, James F. Love, Jr., Bruce J. Love, their spouses, and many nieces and nephews. Her life was celebrated on September 12, 2012 at St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church in Virginia. Donations may be made in her memory to Bon Secours Richmond Healthcare Foundation, Attn.
