We have very loving memories of Laura as our neighbor on Woodbrook Drive. Richard was little and used to brave our large dog to play with Dana. Claude and Marlaine were older but we loved them all. Laura was gentle, a wonderful mother and she and Gerard were great neighbors. John, I didn't know you but you have our deep condolences. Your mother was a very special lady.

A devoted wife and mother now reunites with her loving husband Gerard in Heaven. To all who had the honor of knowing her, Laura was a remarkable lady, a warm and kind friend, and an eternal optimist. She loved God and her family deeply and completely. I will cherish the times we shared good stories and lots of laughter. My heart goes out to Lisa, Jerry, Alex, and Anna in this time of grief. My prayers and expressions of sympathy go to John, Lucian, Claude, Richard and their families. I grieve with you at Laura's passing.

To my Mom: You and Dad shall forever be in my heart!! I've always considered you to be my "second parents", and you both treated me like a "second son", and for that I'll always be grateful!!
A Priest once told me that our lives are streams flowing into the same river towards what ever heaven lies in the midst beyond the falls.
The basic thing is, is that I miss her. I hope that this doesn't sound selfish of me, but the middle years of her life were the best years of mine! I'm deeply proud that this woman found it worth her while to know me! So one day, when I go to some final resting place, if I happen to wake up next to a certain wall with a gate, I hope that Laura is there to vouch for me, and "show me the ropes on the other side! Laura died in August. It was a Monday. She was 90 years old. Even now, I can't understand the measure of a human life, but I
can tell you this: I know that when she died, her eyes were closed, and her heart was open!
