Hennekius, Aloysius G. Aloysius G. Hennekius, 93 passed away on Monday, June 29, 2015 at the Summit of Plantsville . He was born in Brooklyn, New York on July 31, 1921 and raised by Catholic Charities Orphanage. He was a US Army veteran of World War II and served in Korea. He worked as a security guard at Capitol records for many years. He enjoyed fishing bowling and CB radio hobby. His favorite saying was 10-4. The thing he was most proud of was having a family it was precious to him. He was predeceased by his son Thomas Hennekius. He is survived by his wife of 59 years Kathleen Foley Hennekius his daughters Christine Folcik of Southington and Ellen Manning of Stamford, his granddaughter Tara and Jeff Moody, and their children, his great-grandchildren Tory and Jack. His grandson Anthony and Sonya Pia and their children, his great-grandchildren Tallia and AJ. Also grandchildren Jason Manning of South Carolina and his children and Krystle Monical of Wallingford and her children. Friends may call Thursday, July 2nd(TODAY) from 9:30-11AM at the Leo P. Gallagher & Son Funeral Home, 2900 Summer Street Stamford, CT. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11AM. In lieu of flowers please donate to a charity of one's choice.
