Livia Jr., Gary - Stamford  
Livia, Jr., Gary J. Gary J. Livia, Jr., 44, of Cos Cob, passed away peacefully at Greenwich Hospital on Thursday June 23, 2016 surrounded by his loving family after a brave battle with cancer. Gary was born in Bridgeport, CT on November 18, 1971 to the late Gary J. Livia, Sr. and Anna Sutay Truglia. Gary was raised in Stratford, attending Stratford and Lordship Schools and playing little league for Raybestos in Stratford during his grammar school days. He graduated Bullard Haven Technical School in Bridgeport and after moved to Stamford to work in lawn care, eventually becoming Maintenance Supervisor for Ceci Bros. Gary had a love for gardening and horticulture, enjoyed fishing and skiing in his younger days and going every year to Lake George with his family. Gary was also a member of the East Side Cardinals Club in Stamford. Gary is survived by his wife Lisa Zicarelli Livia of Cos Cob, his children, Caysy, Jacob and Jordan Livia, all of Cos Cob, his mother, Anna Truglia and her husband Anthony of Stamford, his mother and father-in-law Barbara and Lorenzo Zicarelli of Stamford, his sister-in-law Angelina England and her husband Derek of Paramus, NJ, his sister-in-law Susan Zicarelli of Cos Cob and his brother-in-law Lawrence Zicarelli of Stamford. His nieces and nephews, Jackson and Madison England and Savannah and Andrei Vaida as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. Besides his father Gary is predeceased by his grandmothers Theresa Salvaggio Biebel and Alice Stevenson Stover. Family and friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT on Saturday July 2, 2016 from 10:00AM to 2:00PM, with a prayer service to be held at 1:30PM. Interment will be private. A special thanks to the Oncology Department of Greenwich Hospital and Dr. Dickerman Hollister who went above and beyond in their care for Gary. Lockwood, Richard R. Richard R. Lockwood, 76, a lifelong resident of Stamford passed away on Monday, June 27, 2016. He was born in Stamford on March 6, 1940 to the late Harry Lockwood Sr. and Aida Passaro Lockwood. Richard was employed as a Machinist at Pitney Bowes for thirty years before retiring in 2001.He enjoyed horseback riding and was an avid Yankees fan. Richard is survived by his loving sons, Michael J. Lockwood of Stamford, John R. Lockwood and his wife Mabel C. of Stamford, a brother Harry "Chubby" Lockwood and his wife Ursula of FL, five grandchildren Jessica, Brooke, Zachary, Jay and Kylie Lockwood, as well as his cousin, Joe Rainone, a niece Cathy and two nephews, Ricky and Chris. Family and friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford on Thursday, June 30, 2016 from 4:00-8:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 1, 20167 at St. Gabriel RC Church, 914 Newfield Avenue, Stamford at a time to be announced. Interment will follow at St. John's RC Cemetery, Darien. Lyons Jr., George W. - Newport Richey, Fl  
Lyons, Jr., George W. George W. Lyons, Jr. (12-22-1918 to 06-21-2016) George was one of six children born to the late George W. and Bertha Cervenka Lyons. He attended Stamford Public schools and graduated with the class of 1936 from Stamford High School. George served in the Pacific during WWII and received the Bronze Star for his heroism. After the war George was employed by the Fidelity Bank for 45 years and retired as Executive V.P. He then relocated to New Port Richey, FL where he enjoyed his retirement years. George is survived by his wife of 69 years Dorothy Farrell Lyons, a son George and a daughter Kathleen. He is also survived by a sister Katherine Gill of Stamford and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Walter and Robert and sisters Mildred Rumore and Bertha Corey.
