EDWIN R. BARLOW 83, a lifelong resident of Stamford passed away on December 17, 2010. He was born on November 9, 1927 to the late Russell and Esther Barlow. He honorably served in the U.S. Army in both World War II and the Korean War rising to the rank of corporal. Upon his return to the states he completed his training as a machinist and spent most of his career at Kimchuk, Inc. He was an avid reader who also dabbled in stock car racing with his predeceased brother, George Barlow. He was a wonderful son, husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Lottie Barlow, two sons, Eric J. Barlow of Stamford, Alan R. Barlow of Ridgefield, and two grandchildren, Emma and Laura Barlow. A memorial service is planned for early next year at the Turn of River Presbyterian Church, 49 Turn of River Road, Stamford, where he was a member for over 45 years.
