Eleanor L. Suttile, 70, of Woodbury, died Tuesday, Jan. 15th at her home with her devoted husband, Frank, at her side, of complications due to Alzheimer's Disease. Eleanor was born August 13, 1942 in Stamford, daughter of the late Robert and Mary (Roman) Perry. She was married on December 23, 1965, to her husband, Frank Suttile. She was a caregiver to families in Fairfield, New Haven and Litchfield counties. She had also worked at Jordan Marsh (formerly Read's) in Southbury. She enjoyed caring for her horses, Mic and Tina, and her boxer, Maxx., and spending time in her flower and vegetable gardens. Formerly of Stamford, she and her husband moved to Woodbury in 1984.
Besides her husband of 47 years, she leaves three sons, Edward and his wife, Lisa, of Oxford, Frank and his wife, Jennifer, of Cheshire and Joseph and his wife, Jennifer, of Bethlehem, five grandchildren, Jake, Spencer, Morgan, Holly and Paige; and her brothers, Edward Perry and Leonard Perry.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, Jan. 18th at 11:00 a.m. in the Church of the Nativity, East Street, Bethlehem. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Watertown.
