Joseph E. Carson born Dec.9, 1932, passed away January 30, 2013 at Stamford Hospital at the age of 80. He died peacefully with his beloved wife of 55 years by his side. Joe was the son of the late James Carson and Julia Banks Carson. He was a lifelong resident of Stamford and former employee at Crystal Rock for 26 years. Joe's greatest joy was riding horses especially his horse "Sonny" they shared a very special bond which lasted a life time. Western Movies and Tradition Country Music that was Joe's cup of tea. Joe was a "True Cowboy at Heart" he didn't wear boots and spurs but he was a cowboy inside. It was his smile and that howdy came from his heart whenever you saw him. Joe is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Mennona Carson. He is also survived by his Nieces and Nephews, Patricia Chicatell, Linda Senecal, Debbie Mennona, Joyce Tournas, Marian Stone, Dorothy Marie Parker, Cathy Foger, Donna Boudreau, Donnie Johnson, Steven Johnson, Jimmy Palmer. He is also survived by two bother-In-laws, Alfred Mennona and wife, Joseph Mennona. Joe will be missed dearly by his family, friends and all that knew him. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
