Paul and Candy,
We were so saddened to hear about the loss of your mom. She was a teriffic lady and I know she will be dearly missed. We will always remember her from the Stamford days and for her generosity and help when mom died.

We are going to miss her, she was a special lady. Our neighbor for so many years, in New Milford. I always enjoyed sitting out back and just chatting with her.

I feel really blessed to have known such a wonderful woman as Evelyn. She was kind, generous and I often asked her advice on things that would come up in my life. I respected her opinion and she always made me feel better after talking to her. I will miss my friend Evelyn as she has been my friend for many years. I admired her zest for life and how she was so positive about everything. She was always quick to laugh and enjoyed life to the fullest. My condolences to her 3 sons and her many grandchildren who she spoke of so often especially 'PJ'. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. May she rest in peace.

Evelyn was a unique woman with whom I had the opportunity to work with at General Housewares. She spoiled all of us with her delicious, home-made cakes, cookies, Swedish coffee cakes, nut loafs, etc. An expert of the art of needlepoint, a knitter, seamstress and total master of many of the lost arts of homemaking.
Continually active in her church's various organizations, Evelyn donated greatly to its many good causes and fund drives.
Her zest for life was infectious. She loved her steak and potatoes and had an encyclopedic knowledge of food.
Evelyn loved her sons fiercely and was so happy with her grandchildren - she would mention PJ all the time and you could hear the pride in her voice when she talked of her grandchildren.
Evelyn learned to use the Internet and E-Mail in her late 70's; she was forever curious about the world and always interested in what was happening in your life. She touched many people and I am grateful to have been one. My life is richer for having known her and I will miss her dearly. My deepest condolences,
