Anna Adama Obituary
Anna D. Adams, formerly of Fairfield CT, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 5 2013 after a brief illness. She was born on September 18, 1928 in Stamford CT to Timothy Ryan and Anna Moffett Ryan. Anna was a 56 year resident of Fairfield CT, who worked for many years at Exide Battery and retired from Fairfield University. She is survived by her husband of 63 years Robert J Adams and two sons, Scott E Adams and his wife Karen of Fairfield CT and Wayne R Adams and Jewel Patrick of Trumbull CT. She is also survived by two sisters, Mary Misencik and her husband Michael of Stamford CT and Patricia McQuillan of Seymour CT as well as two brothers, Timothy Ryan of Stamford CT and Michael Ryan "Buster" of Darien CT and numerous nieces and nephews. Her four grandchildren, Amanda Ore and her husband William of Marietta GA, Scott Adams Jr. and his wife Robin of Clinton CT, Eric Adams of Fairfield CT and Elizabeth Rainville of Florida as well as her three great grandchildren, Stella and Marshall Ore and Emma Adams will miss her greatly. She is predeceased by a sister Ellen Kennedy and three brothers, Edward Ryan, John "Jack" Ryan and William Ryan. Friends may call on Friday, August 9, 2013 from 5-8 PM in the Spear-Miller Funeral Home, 39 South Benson Rd., Fairfield, CT. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers the family asks to make a donation in Anna's memory to the St Emery's RC Church 838 Kings Highway East Fairfield CT 06825. A wonderful wife mother and friend, she will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

Bob, Scott, Wayne & Families
My heart is with you at this time, although in the last day my heart is filled with the many memories of Ann, her laughter which you just had to respond to, because of the warmth and sincerity of it. The times spent together at family picnics, the times spent at your home in Fairfield. These things flow me when thinking of Ann. So though it is a hard time you are going though remember all that Ann was and still is in our hearts.

My Dear Sweet Auntie Ann, May you rest in peace in heaven and be by the side of the ones that have gone before you. My prayers and thoughts are with our family and especially to Uncle Bob and Scott and Wayne and their families. I am so grateful we got to spend a day with you last year. Love to all always.
