Daniel McCarthy Obituary
Daniel L. McCarthy, 81, a resident of Woodbury, and formerly of Stamford, CT passed away August 14 after a long illness in Waterbury ,Ct. He graduated from Stamford High School in 1950 . Daniel worked as a salesman in the paint industry, most recently as a representative for Padco, Linzer, E & W products, and H.F.Staples & Co.. He is survived by his wife, Jean McCarthy of Sarasota FL, 5 children: Larry McCarthy of Oregon, Colleen McCarthy of New Haven CT , Kevin McCarthy of Danbury CT , Rosemary Dorus of Sarasota FL , and Daniel G. McCarthy of Milford CT. Survivors also include 10 grandchildren and a great grandson. In addition to family members, he is survived by his beloved cat, Molly. To Dan's family -
We are very sorry for your loss. We have been Dan's neighbors for the last nine years. He was a good neighbor and we miss running into him to have chats about the garden, Woodlake and animals. We have adopted his loving cat Molly and hope he knows she is in a good home and keeping our little schnauzer inline. RIP Dan
