John Prizio Obituary

Prizio, John P.
John P. Prizio, a Stamford, CT resident, died peacefully in his home on July 17, 2016 at the age of 66.
Born on December 27, 1949 in Stamford, CT to the late James and Rose Prizio. John graduated from Rippowam High School in 1968. He went on to join the Carpenters Union and worked on many well known projects in Stamford including Lord and Taylor before branching out on his own. He later started his own business, Prizio Roofing and Siding Co., Inc., which grew into one of the most successful Roofing and Siding Companies in Fairfield County. It was his pride and joy. John and his family moved to New Canaan where he and his ex-wife, the late Jan Prizio, built their dream home and raised their family.
John had a thirst for life that was contagious and whether it was spoiling his grandsons, traveling, riding his motorcycle or playing golf, you never knew what he would do next.
John is survived by his children, Lori Prizio Costello (Christopher) of Trumbull and Jonathan Prizio (Heather) of New Canaan; his partner in life, Mary Sara of Darien; his beloved grandsons, Jason and Kyle Costello; his sister, Joyce Prizio (Peter) of Glastonbury and Joseph Prizio (Karin) Brookfield; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and a great nephew.
Relatives and friends may call at the Lacerenza Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT on Thursday, July 21, 2016 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 22, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT. Interment will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery, Stamford, CT.

To john's family
So sad to learn of John's passing. John had a lot of friends in New York who just found out. All of us would have gone to pay our respects if we had known. May he rest in peace.
