Pitassi, Annmarie
Annmarie Pitassi, 66, of Cos Cob, CT, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 02, 2014.She was born in Port Chester,NY, on July 8, 1947, Daughter to the late Rocco and Dominica Mecca Strazza.
Annmarie was a loving mother, devoted wife, caring sister and aunt. She was an avid bowler and former member of the Italian Women's League in Stamford, CT. Annmarie was also employed by Shoreline Pools until her retirement.
Annmarie is survived by her loving husband of over thirty years, Richard Pitassi of Cos Cob, CT. Their two sons Nicholas Pitassi and wife Stephanie of Stamford,CT , and John Pitassi of Cos Cob, CT. Her two brothers also survive her, John Strazza of Stamford,CT, and Rick Strazza of Port Chester, NY. , along with several nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours. However, a Memorial Mass will be held TOMORROW, Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at Our Lady Star of the Sea RC Church, 1200 Shippan Ave., Stamford, CT 06902 at 11:00AM, Interment will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association (CT Chapter) 2075 Silas Dean Highway, suite 100, Rocky Hill, CT 06067.

I was shocked to hear about AnnMarie's passing. I worked with her at Shoreline some years back. She was such a pleasure and such a sweet lady. What I remember most was the love she had for her "guys". She loved being a wife and mother most of all. I am so glad I got to know her.
