ANTHONY J. PAULTER, 107, of Stamford passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, April 27, 2012. He was born on July 20, 1904 in Patterson, NJ to the late Anthony J. and Rose Paulter, Sr. Anthony was employed as a Textile Manager for Lee's Moodus Mills of Stamford for many years before his retirement. Anthony is survived by his loving wife of sixty eight years, Catherine Gowac Paulter of Stamford and several nieces , nephews and dear friends. An article regarding the celebration of his life was in the front page of The Advocate on January 5, 2012. He and his wife Catherine worked together at the Moodus Mills Textile plant in Moodus, CT when he was 41 and his wife was 25 years old. He attributed his longevity to his wife Catherine for all these years. A funeral procession will be leaving The Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902 on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at 10:20 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00 AM at St. Mary's RC Church, 566 Elm Street, Stamford. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery, Darien. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 from 2:00- 4:00 PM.
