MARINO J. ESTRELIA 62, formerly of Stamford, passed away peacefully on the morning of Sunday, June 10, 2012. He left this world surrounded by his loving family and holding his wife, Norma's, hand. A woman he cherished and who was always by his side. Marino was born March 15, 1950 in Guayaquil, Ecuador to Olga Estrella Ladines and Lincoln R Estrella of Stamford, CT. Marino was a charismatic and loving man, who found life's rewards in soccer, the New York Mets and most of all, spoiling his grandchildren with unconditional love and affection. Marino touched many lives through his gift of laughter. He loved to laugh and loved to make people laugh. It's no wonder he was treasured by so many and never had a shortage of friends. Marino was a loving father, husband, grandfather, son, brother, cousin and friend, and he will be incredibly missed. He is survived by his wife, Norma Estrella, formerly of Stamford, CT and resident of Milford, and their four children; Irene Estrella, Lincoln Estrella, Iris Lopez, and Rosemarie Estrella, and his loving grandchildren, Richie, Orlando, Jailyn, Kayla, Cory, Javi, EJ, and Lil Hector. Marino is also survived by two brothers, Lincoln Estrella and Hector Estrella, and two sisters, Aracelly Lavanda, and Yvonne Argudo. The family will receive friends and relatives on Friday, June 15, 2012 from 4 to 8pm at Bosak Funeral Home & Cremation, 453 Shippan Avenue in Stamford, CT. At the request of the family, interment will be private. The Estrella family has entrusted the funeral arrangements to Bosak Funeral Home & Cremation, 453 Shippan Avenue, Stamford, CT.
