During his retirement, he enjoyed traveling the country with his wife, and was an avid jogger running 5 miles a day.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother George Saltis and his sister Pandora Tsouros. He is survived by his lovely, devoted wife Georgia (Drallios) Saltis; his two adored daughters, Madeline Russo of Watertown, CT and Ava Saltis of Stamford, CT and cherished grandson Trevor Russo of Watertown, CT; his sister Vasiliki (Betty) Montouris and brother Andrew Saltis and several nieces and nephews.
