To the Medley family,

As a fellow rider I only knew 'Shaq' from our periodic run-ins on weekend rides. Yet, in spite of not knowing him well, I had/have great admiration for him as he was a kind spirit inside a formidable exterior. His sense of humor, calmness and inner strength were so notable to our group of riders. I will 'talk' to him in my prayers for I know he will listen and that great smile will carry me when I most need it.
God bless your family!

Love,
Douglas Almanzar

Our prayers go out to O'Neil's family. He was a great part of our FAA sports family. O'Neil always greeted me and my children with such a big smile and a warm handshake. He was always encouraging to them even though they were on the opposing team and would compete against them. He was a great competitor and an even better person. We are sadden and will miss his physical presence, but we know he will not be forgotten. (Carol Brown ~ King Coach and Friend)
