Ramzi Nassar, age 57, of Brookfield, Connecticut, passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2013. Ramzi was born in Tripoli, Lebanon and came to the United States in 1976. He proudly obtained US citizenship in 1982. He graduated with his Masters in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. Ramzi began his career at EBASCO, in Atlanta, Georgia, followed by a life long fulfilling career at General Electric. His most recent position was Managing Director of GE Energy Financial Services. Ramzi's expertise in linguistics, diplomacy, technology and finance allowed him to thrive in his personal and professional life. He was especially devoted to his colleague's in GE's global community and inspired many with his exceptional work ethic. He is survived by his beloved wife Suzanne of thirty-four years - the love of his life, confident and advocate. In addition he leaves behind his loving mother Nadia and his sister Nahla. His father Bechara precedes him in death. Ramzi was a friend to many. All of his interpersonal relationships were in awe of his extreme generosity. His other passions were his pets, golf, skiing, performance automobiles, all gadgets and especially his precious Blackberry. The family would like to express their appreciation and gratitude to Dr. Dennis Cooper of Smilow Cancer Center at Yale-New Haven, Dr. Kert Sabbath of Smilow Cancer Center at Waterbury and Dr. Ihsan Jabbour in Waterbury for their endless support.
