RICHARD STANTON ZEBROSKI (ZEBROWSKI) 75, a lifelong resident of Stamford, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, July 13, 2012. His family was lovingly by his side. He was born August 23, 1936, in Stamford, to the late Stanley and Joan (Lenczycki) Zebroski. Mr. Zebrowski worked for United Banana Corporation where he retired as President and CEO. He was a graduate of Stamford High School and participated in various sports. He enjoyed being on the water, boating and fishing. He was also a pioneer in the importation of Organic Bananas. Richard (Stan) is survived by his loving wife, Sylvia Smith Zebrowski, of Stamford, CT, two sons, John Christopher and Shelby Zebroski, of Stamford, and Jeffrey and Lisa Thomas, of Lakeland, TN, four grandchildren and his two brothers, Leon and Eileen Zebroski and Raymond and Barbara Zebroski, both of Florida. Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews also survive him. The Zebroski family welcomes all friends and relatives on Tuesday, July 17th from 4 to 7pm at Bosak Funeral Home, 453 Shippan Avenue, Stamford, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 18th at 9:30am at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 369 Washington Blvd, in Stamford. Interment will immediately follow mass at St. John R.C. Cemetery in Darien. The family has entrusted the funeral arrangements to Bosak Funeral Home & Cremation, 453 Shippan Avenue, Stamford, CT.
