Clark, Scott A.
Scott Alan Clark passed away suddenly Tuesday evening. Scott was born in Redwood City, California on September 4th 1962. He spent much of his youth in San Jose, California and graduated from Oak Grove High School in 1980. Scott attended San Jose State University where he graduated with a B.S. in Accounting in 1985. Scott went to work immediately for KPMG Peat Marwick and worked for them for seven years. In the fall of 1992, Scott began working with Price Waterhouse Coopers first in Seattle and then in New York City where his specialty was Article 32 New York City and State income tax law as it applied to banks and where he ultimately was made a partner. Scott left Price Waterhouse to open his own small firm serving banking clients. Despite the success of the business, desiring security for his family, Scott went to work with Citigroup in 2007 as State and Local Tax director. In 2010 he took the position of State and Local Tax director at Bank of America.
Scott had a rewarding professional career but the job he loved most was that of being a husband and father. Scott is survived by his wife Elaine and his four children Kathleen, John, Mary and Anne, his sister Gina Lounds and brother in law Terry, sister Sandra Clark, his brother and sister in law Sean and Carol Nalty, sister in law Margaret Nalty, his second set of parents Kathleen and John Nalty, nieces Caitlin, Nicole, Monica and Maria and nephews Ben and John.
