Hi - We were so sorry to read of Stanley's passing. He was a gentle man and we met him when he came to his cousin Felix's wake and funeral and to Felix's wife's funeral last year. We send our sympathies.

You were one of our quiet heroes. I learned much from watching your example. I still talk about the impact of me seeing you the first time in Woodland cemetery, planting flags on the graves of your fallen comrades and so many others all by yourself. It was an honor to be a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars with you. Rest well soldier, job very well done!
