Gomolak, Toni E.
Toni Elaine Gomolak, 70, resident of Fairfield County, CT and former employee of Stamford Hospital, passed away on the evening of Thursday, March 13, 2014. She was born in Kansas on December 17, 1943. Toni was loved by all those who knew her. She had an enduring spirit of love, compassion, positivity, and kindness. Toni had a great love for her children, her family, and her friends. She loved nature, music, decorating, and gardening, and she was an avid filer. She was deeply spiritual and was a source of wisdom when those around her needed advice or comfort. She was a true professional throughout her life and balanced family, work, and life with elegance and grace. Toni was fun to be around and always knew how to make her loved ones laugh. Her family will seek solace in the many happy memories they share with Toni; the memory of her warm embrace, gentle smile, and soft touch will endure. Her motto in life which she applied to all things was this: Live, Love, and Laugh. She is survived by her loving children; Timothy Gomolak, Chris Gomolak (Beth), Deborah Gomolak (David) and Stephanie Gomolak, her beloved grandchildren; Christopher and Caroline, and Christopher and Lauren. She is also survived by her sisters; Karen, Sarah, Pat and Sue. In addition to her parents, Toni was preceded in death in 2002 by her beloved husband of 37 years, Gerald, and her sister, Gin. The Gomolak family will receive the sympathy of friends and family on Tuesday, March 18th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Bosak Funeral Home, 453 Shippan Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, March 19th at 11 a.m. at St. Leo Church, 24 Roxbury Road, in Stamford.
