His family moved to Stamford the following year where he remained a lifelong Stamford resident. His youth was actively spent in the Boy Scouts and in 1975 he was inducted into the Order of the Arrow - Scouting's National Honor Society. He spent summers in the Adirondacks with his family and later at Camp Toquam as a scout and later as a counselor. He graduated from Rippowam High School in 1977 where he played soccer, lacrosse and rugby. He attended Wheeling College in West Virginia and worked in the interior landscape business for 30+ years. Tim was also an avid fly fisherman, a talent passed down from his father. Tim dearly loved his German Shorthair Pointer, Hans. Tim was an incredible natural chef who always had something amazing cooking. Lastly, an obituary of Tim would not be complete if it did not include mention of his incredible kindness and sense of humor. From childhood until his death, he was one of the kindest souls on this earth. He was always there for anyone who needed him; quietly taking care of everything he could, always in the background. Our mother called him her 'rock' with good reason he as an amazing guy.
