Evelyn (Posca) Kellogg, age 86 of Bethel, CT died suddenly at her home Wednesday, April 30, 2014. She was the widow of Robert E. Kellogg.
She was born in Stamford, CT, March 20, l928, daughter of the late Dominick Posca and Margaret (Bartholomew) Posca. She graduated with honors second in her class from Sacred Heart Academy, Stamford, CT, graduated from McDowell School of Fashion Design, Manhattan, NY. Employed by Pitney Bowes, Stamford CT in the Credit Union where she met her beloved husband. She then became a payroll supervisor at Dorr Oliver, Stamford, CT. until her retirement. Her talents included designing and sewing fashions for her family. She was graced with the ability to paint in watercolors, oils and charcoal. Her hobbies included gardening, reading and crosswords. She loved music and taught herself to play the organ. Her strong love for her family was demonstrated by being there with a helping hand.
She is survived by her beloved sister: Elaine Amick and her husband James of Bethel, CT; brother: Art Posca and his wife Helene of Saugerties, NY; her cherished nephews and nieces: Christopher Amick (Lori) of Bethel, CT, Laurie (Don) Hallas of New Milford CT, Matthew Posca, of Saugerties, NY, Glenn (Anne) Posca of Schenectady, NY, and Gene (Martha) Posca of Waukesha, WI; her adoring great nieces and nephews who knew her as Tee Tee: Trevor, Justin and Amanda Hallas, and Ryan and Lexi Amick. You will always be in our hearts.

The funeral will be held at the Bethel United Methodist Church, 141 Greenwood Ave., Bethel, Monday morning at 11:00. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery, Bethel, CT.
