Louis Varga, 92, peacefully passed away at New London Hospital on Tuesday, June 10, 2014, surrounded by his family. "Louie", as he was known by all, was born in Hungary and immigrated to the United States at age 9. He was also proud to have served as a teacher of the electrical trades to high school students at J. M. Wright Technical High School in Stamford. He was passionate about family, friends, politics, history, books and gardening.
He served proudly as an Army sergeant on the European Front in WWII, responsible for communications equipment maintenance.
