ADELINE ROSE (SESSA) MALLOZZI age 95, died peacefully on February 5, 2012. She was born on August 11, 1916 in Stamford, Connecticut, the daughter of Antonio and Concetta (Di Santo) Mallozzi. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Amalio Mallozzi, as well as her sister Mary (Sessa) Della Corte, and three brothers Anthony "Tony" Sessa, Silvio Sessa, and Jerry Sessa. She was also predeceased by a brother-in-law, Matthew Della Corte, and a sister-in-law, Nicoletta Sessa (Mrs. Anthony). Mrs. Mallozzi is survived by her sister-in-law, Anne Sessa (Mrs. Jerry) as well as a niece Donna (Sessa) Carter (Jimmy); and three nephews: Andrew Della Corte (Donna), Anthony Sessa (Maryann), and Carl Sessa. She is also survived by great nephews and great nieces: David Carter, Aimee Carter, Matthew Della Corte, Andrew Della Corte, Jr. and Kimberly Joy Sessa, and two great, great nieces. Adeline graduated from Stamford High School in 1933 and was employed for several years as a seamstress and served as Union President. Later, for a number of years until her retirement, she was a private secretary with American Bechler Company. Adeline was a loving, caring, giving, and charitable person throughout her life and was most devoted and loyal to her family and friends. She was especially devout and was a lifelong member and supporter of Sacred Heart Church in Stamford. She will be missed by all who had the good fortune of knowing her. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery, Darien, CT.
