JUDITH A. GAMBINO age 61, a lifelong Stamford resident passed away on Friday, February 24th, 2012 at Stamford Hospital. Born on January 28, 1951, the daughter of the late Joseph Wasil and Julia Koba Wasil. She is survived by her devoted husband, former Sports Caster for WSTC Radio, Len S. Gambino; her beloved children Salvatore Gambino and his wife Emma, Jon Boucher, Marc Boucher and his wife Sarah, Gigi Pohl and Allyson Gambino. She also leaves behind her mother-in-law Jennie Gambino; brother Robert Wasil ; 2 adored grandchildren Tore and Tyler and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her sister, Virginia Wasil and son-in-law Kurt Pohl. Judith has been employed as a Senior Personal Banker at Webster Bank for many years. She enjoyed reading and was an avid New York Yankees, New York Giants and UCONN Women's and Men's Basketball fan. She loved going to Lake George and Cape Cod with her family. A special thanks to Cathie B. Faulkner and the entire staff at Stamford Hospital for their care and compassion given to Judith. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, February 28th, 2012 at 11 a.m. at St. Bridgets of Ireland Church, 278 Strawberry Hill Avenue, Stamford. Interment will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery, Rockrimmon Road, Stamford.
