GAIL SCULLY BROWN 57, peacefully passed away on Monday, June 11, 2012 following a long and courageous battle with ovarian and colon cancer. Her beloved husband, Arthur 'Skip' Brown, and puppies were by her side. Gail was born December 9, 1954 in Greenwich, CT. She was the daughter of the late Richard J. Scully, Jr., retired Postmaster of the Riverside Post Office for more than three decades, and Jean Morano Ritch Scully of Riverside, CT. Gail was also the granddaughter of the late John T. Scully, 'Sarge', the former Sergeant and Chief of Police of Greenwich, and Elizabeth 'Bessie' Doran Scully. Gail worked for more than three decades at Gerald Metals, Inc. in Stamford where she was a beloved and respected employee until the time of her passing. Gail and Skip resided in Stamford, CT and Grottoes, VA. Gail is survived by her devoted and loving husband, Skip Brown, her two loving Schnauzer girls, Whiskers II and Patches, a sister, Cheryl Scully Prann, and her husband, John R. Prann, Jr., of Sanibel Island, FL and Harrison, TN, nephews, John R. Prann III, and wife Cara, of Capitola, CA, Justin Scully Prann, and wife Angela and children, Sawyer and Ellis, of Signal Mountain, TN and niece, Elizabeth Prann, and husband, Darren O'Day, of Atlanta, GA. Gail is also survived by a brother, Ricky, two nephews, a niece and a grand niece. Gail's family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, June 14, 2012 from 4 to 8pm, with a memorial prayer service at 7pm, at Bosak Funeral Home & Cremation, 453 Shippan Avenue in Stamford, CT. Interment will be privately held in Grottoes, VA.
