MARIA F. PISANO 95, passed away peacefully in her home with her family by her side on July 25, 2012. She was born in Ashland, West Virginia on May 6, 1917 to the late Felice and Caterina Bova Deluca. Maria was a loving Italian mother that dedicated her life to her family; she was an amazing cook of all the Italian specialties, an avid gardener and the most loving grandmother. Her beloved husband of over 71 years Ernesto Pisano, pre- deceased her in 2008. She is survived by her six children. Her son Domenick Pisano and his wife Marie of Cos Cob, CT. Son Benny Pisano and his wife Rose also of Cos Cob, CT. Son Ronald Pisano of Norwalk, CT. Son Anthony Pisano and his wife Valerie of Greenwich, and Son Claude Pisano of Stamford, CT. A Daughter Connie Pisano Koss and her husband Steve of Stamford, CT. Grandchildren that survive her are Pasquale, Adelmo, Emilio, Domenick, Jr., Lori, Diana, Stephanie, Lisa, Debbie, Michelle, Cynthia, Jessica, Rebecca, Thomas, Anthony Jr., and Christopher. Also surviving are 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Besides her husband and parents she is predeceased by a daughter Theresa Lorenti, a sister Lucia and a brother Pasquale. Family and Friends may call at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Ave., Stamford, CT 06902 on Monday, July 30th, 2012 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM. A procession will be leaving the funeral home on Tuesday, July 31st, 2012 at 10:00AM and process to the St. Mary's R.C. Church, 556 Elm Street, Stamford, CT where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30. Interment will then follow at the St. Johns, RC Cemetery, 25 Camp Ave., Darien, CT Donations may be made in Maria's name to the , 2075 Silas Deane Hwy, Suite 100, Rocky Hill, CT 06067 Online condolences can be made at
